Με θέμα η “Βιώσιμη Τουριστική Ανάπτυξη και Περιβάλλον” ξεκινούν σήμερα οι εργασίες του διήμερου 2oυ Διεθνούς Επιστημονικού Συνεδρίου Τουρισμού που διοργανώνει στη Χίο, το Διατμηματικό Πρόγραμμα Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών “Σχεδιασμός, Διοίκηση και Πολιτική του Τουρισμού”, της Σχολής Επιστημών Της Διοίκησης, του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου.
Παρουσιάζοντας τη θεματολογία του συνεδρίου ο αναπληρωτής καθηγητής του Πανεπιστημίου και Πρόεδρος του Τμήματος Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων Πάρις Τσάρτας σημείωσε ότι το θέμα της αειφόρου ανάπτυξης συζητιέται έντονα τα τελευταία 5 χρόνια και παραμένει ανοικτό.
Ήδη έχουν επιλεχθεί από την οργανωτική επιτροπή περίπου 65 εισηγήσεις οι οποίες θα παρουσιαστούν σήμερα και αύριο.
Το αρνητικό του συνεδρίου, λόγω και λειτουργικών προβλημάτων αφού θα γίνει στο Αμφιθέατρο του Πανεπιστημίου και σε αίθουσες του Μιχάλειου ότι θα έχει ως μόνη γλώσσα την αγγλική.
